Summary
As with many energy plants, cogeneration cannot escape the development of computer simulation, which is essential to the sizing of these powerful energy-producing units. Concerns over the price of energy, the duration of demand for thermal and electric energy, and the influence of technical choices can be directly quantified at the level of the preliminary study, of the sizing of the equipment, or even during the monitoring of performance.
