Summary
The programme package described has been developed with the aim of providing support to operators in daily operation management of the EL-TO Zagreb (heat and power generation plant). The core of the package is an optimization algorithm based on a detailed mathematical model of the process which, depending on the market conditions, determines how to use available resources with a view to minimizing production costs.
