Cogeneration or heat pumps? An evaluation of future trends.
Author(s) : LORENTZEN G., ARØEN A.
Summary
A fundamental analysis of the future possibilities of heating and cooling methods, with special reference to the Scandinavian countries. Improved building insulation and occupational density indicates that cooling may become essential. For such a need, decentralised heat pumps have overall advantages. Two-pipe and single-pipe heat source/sink mains are illustrated. A.R.T.
