Summary

The main points of this document are: 1) Colombia has already met the requirements of articles 2, 2A, 2E and 7; 2) Colombia has ratified the Vienna agreement on the ozone layer, as well as the Rio de Janeiro agreement on climatic changes; 3) Colombia will formulate standards in order to ensure the implementation of the Montreal Protocol; 4) Colombia is designing a data base to control CFC imports and use; 5) Colombia is preparing improvement projects for industry and small businesses; and 6) in 1992, no CFC was used any longer in Colombia as a propellent for non-essential aerosol products.
