COMPARATIVE ANALYSIS OF THE AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM WITH CONSTANT AIR VOLUME AND 2 SYSTEMS WITH VARIABLE AIR VOLUME.

Author(s) : TIEGL K., SAMBOL I.

Summary

THE PURPOSE OF THE RESEARCH WAS TO STUDY THE POSSIBILITIES OF REDUCING THE ELECTRIC ENERGY FOR THE SUPPLY FAN AT THE RECONSTRUCTION OF A CERTAIN BUSINESS BUILDING. THE EXISTING AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM IS DUAL DUCT WITH CONSTANT AIR VOLUME. AS THE RECONSTRUCTIONAL VERSIONS, THE AUTHORS HAVE SELECTED THE FOLLOWING 2 SYSTEMS: SINGLE DUCT WITH VARIABLE AIR VOLUME + CENTRAL HEATING AND DUAL DUCT WITH VARIABLE AIR VOLUME. FINAL RESULT IS THE PRESENTATION OF ELECTRIC ENERGY CONSUMPTION FOR A TYPICAL DAY IN THE MONTH, FOR ALL MONTHS DURING THE YEAR. VERY EVIDENT IS THE ENERGY SAVING AT BOTH VARIABLE SYSTEMS IN COMPARISON WITH THE EXISTING CONSTANT SYSTEM.
