Quality assurance is essential to the Swiss heat pump programme, and heat pump units must be tested and approved by means of certified test rigs. Heat pump performance distribution is measured at different temperature levels for both heat sink and heat source. An experimental investigation of three different Swiss testing facilites confirmed the validity of such tests.
