Summary

THE DEGREE OF HUMIDITY TRANSFER OF HEAT REGENERATORS AS A FUNCTION OF THE UNDERRUN DEW POINT WAS EXPERIMENTALLY DETERMINED AT FIRST. ENERGY CONSUMPTION AND COST OF AIR-CONDITIONING SYSTEMS WITH ENERGY RECOVERY BY HEAT AND ENTHALPY REGENERATORS WERE CALCULATED AND COMPARED IN A VARIANT CALCULATION FOR SIX REAL AND TYPICAL APPLICATIONS OF ENTHALPY REGENERATORS. THE RESULTS REVEAL MAJOR ADDITIONAL SAVINGS IN THERMAL ENERGY AND ENERGY COST OF THE AIR-CONDITIONING SYSTEMS WITH ENTHALPY REGENERATORS. THEY ARE 30-40% AND 15-30%, RESPECTIVELY REFERRED TO THE CONSUMPTION FIGURES AND COST OF THE VARIANT WITH HEAT REGENERATORS.
