Comparison of expansion valve performance.
Author(s) : HEWITT N. J., MCMULLAN J. T.
Type of article: Article
Summary
Compares the performance of a thermostatic expansion valve, thermoelectric expansion valve, solenoid expansion valve and a motorised type acting as part of an extensively controlled and instrumented refrigeration system. Describes the experimental facility and supplies the performance results in diagrams and discusses them. Demonstrates that the solenoid expansion valve provides the best control.
