Comparison of steady state and transient methods for measurement of local heat transfer in plate fin-tube heat exchangers using liquid crystal thermography with radiant heating.
Author(s) : CRITOPH R. E., HOLLAND M. K., FISHER M.
Type of article: Article
Summary
Two techniques using radiative steady state and transient heating have been used. It is estimated that the errors in the steady state technique should be no more or less than 10%. It is suggested that the steady state method is preferable.
