Component based modelling as a design tool for refrigerating machines.
Author(s) : MONDOT M.
Summary
Component based modelling for compression refrigeration machines has been developed. The components are characterized and modelled individually. The entire system model is obtained by assembling the different components, linked with each other through their input/output variables. Libraries of the four major components of the system are described. The component models and their integration have been valided in relation to the test results on an air-to-air unit and an individual air conditioner.
