AT TRONDHEIM UNIVERSITY TWO TEST RIGS FOR REFRIGERATING COMPRE SSORS WERE BUILT. THEY CAN MEASURE THE VOLUMETRIC AND ENERGETIC EFFICIENCY OF THE COMPRESSOR, WITH A SHAFT POWER VARYING BETWEEN 10 AND 500 KILOW. THE PAPER DESCRIBES THE TEST RIGS WITH THEIR MEASURING INSTRUMENTS. THE ACCURACIES OF THE MEASUREMENT OF EFFICIENCY ARE MENTIONED. UNDER PRESENT OPERATING CONDITIONS, THE DEVIATION IS LOWER THAN 2%.
