COMPUTER-AIDED MEASUREMENTS ON HERMETIC COMPRESSORS.

Author(s) : KOHLER R.

Summary

DESCRIPTION OF COMPUTER-AIDED UNITS MEASURING THE PERFORMANCE OF HERMETIC COMPRESSORS UNDER STATIONARY AND UNSTATIONARY CONDITIONS. BESIDES THESE CRITERIA, VARYING RATHER SLOWLY (REFRIGERATING CAPACITY, ELECTRIC POWER, ROTATION RATE, TEMPERATURE, PRESSURE, ETC), THE FOLLOWING PROCESSES VARYING RAPIDLY ARE ALSO MEASURED: DEVELOPMENT OF PRESSURE IN THE CYLINDER AND THE PIPES, CRANK ANGLE POSITION, RECORDING OF DEAD CENTRES, MOVEMENT AND DISTORTION OF VALVE PLATES AND VIBRATIONS. THE MICROCOMPUTER CONTROLS THE WHOLE MEASURING PROCESS AND MAKES CALCULATIONS. THE TEST DATA ARE PRESENTED.
