THE AUTHORS USED A MICROPROCESSOR SYSTEM FOR TESTING HEAT EXCHANGERS IN NATURAL OR FORCED CONVECTION. THE COMPUTER AND CALCULATION PROGRAMMES ARE USED FOR TESTS UNDER STEADY AND TRANSIENT CONDITIONS. THE RESULTS ARE PROCESSED AND PRINTED OUT AND ARE COMPARED TO OPERATING CONDITIONS, WITH THE CHARACTERISTICS OF THE UNIT. THE APPLICATION OF THIS SYSTEM CONSIDERABLY IMPROVED THE QUALITY OF TESTS AND FACILITATED LABORATORY WORK.
