COMPUTER-ASSISTED APPLICATION OF THE EXERGY CONCEPT TO OPTIMIZE THE WORKING CONDITIONS OF REFRIGERATING MACHINERY.
Author(s) : NOWOTNY S.
Summary
THE COMPUTERIZED CALCULATION OF EXERGY RESULTS IN A MARKED SIMPLIFICATION. EXERGY CALCULATION MAKES IT POSSIBLE TO DETECT THE SOURCES OF THERMODYNAMIC LOSSES AND SHOW HOW TO PREVENT THEM. IN THE COMPRESSION REFRIGERATING MACHINE, THE COMPRESSOR IS THE MAIN SOURCE OF IRREVERSIBLE LOSSES. INVESTIGATIONS SHOULD BE FOCUSSED ON THE IMPROVEMENT OF THE EFFICIENCY OF THE COMPRESSOR.
