IF THE LOCATION OF THE FACILITY HAS A SIGNIFICANT NUMBER OF HOUR PER YEAR BELOW APPROXIMATELY 277.5 K (4.5 DEG C) WET BULB TEMPERATURE, THE SYSTEM SHOULD BE CONSIDERED FOR < FREE COOLING > IE USING THE COOLING TOWER WATER DIRECTLY INTO THE BUILDING CHILLED WATER CIRCUIT WITHOUT THE COSTLY OPERATION OF THE CHILLER COMPRESSOR.
