Summary
The paper presents an HVAC plant in which refrigerated water in the air-conditioning circuit is produced either by a classical chiller, or by a cooling tower, when the conditions outside and inside are convenient. The result is substantial energy saving (about 50% compared to a conventional "only chiller" system).
