COMPUTER SIMULATION OF HEATING SYSTEMS WITH AIR-TO-WATER HEAT PUMPS.

Author(s) : AFJEI T.

Summary

A HEAT PUMP SIMULATION PROGRAM HAS BEEN CREATED TO BE ABLE TO OPTIMIZE THE SEASONAL PERFORMANCE FACTOR OF HEAT PUMP HEATING SYSTEMS (HPHS). THE PROGRAM CALCULATES AT DISCRETE TIME STEPS THE HPHS'S STEADY-STATE CONDITION. METEOROLOGICAL DATA OF 7 CLIMATIC REGIONS IN SWITZERLAND CAN BE USED NOW. CURVE FITS OF AN AIR-TO-WATER HEAT PUMP CAN BE GENERATED, VARIOUS CONTROL PARAMETERS AND COMPONENTS' CHARACTERISTICS CAN BE SET.
