Summary
The outline of fundamental matters of condensation of pure and mixed refrigerants is given. The heat transfer enhancement mechanism and recent techniques are described. The heat transfer enhancement mechanism of condensation of the pure refrigerants has been fairly clarified for both the outside and inside tubes. Optimization of the fin and groove shapes is expected.
