IIR document
Condensation heat transfer and energy efficiency of working fluids in mechanical refrigeration.
Author(s) : CAVALLINI A.
Summary
The energy performance of working fluids for mechanical refrigeration is usually assessed by considering COPs. With respect to condensation heat transfer inside plain tubes, it is shown how a Penalty Factor can be associated with any refrigerant as an immediate evaluation criterion of its potential heat transfer performance in condensers.
