Summary
The paper presents experimental results of heat transfer and pressure drop in condensation of CO2 in a horizontal internally enhanced tube. Condensing temperatures are in the range of -10 to -30 °C, making these results important for cascade and secondary loop applications with carbon dioxide. The tube used for these experiments is Dmeltdown= 6.26 mm, helically internally finned and results are compared to the smooth tube of a similar inner diameter.
