Author(s) : YAZAKI Y.
Type of article: Article
Summary
Condensing units (0.3-30 kilowatts output class) using scroll compressors and R22 are becoming increasingly common. Important points for maintenance of condensing units are prevention of overheat and short-cycle operation. In the future, the most important subject will be "maintenance free" systems, based on high reliability. Moreover, contracts for alarm systems and periodic inspections are sought-after.
