CONTROL OF COMPRESSOR REFRIGERATING UNITS FOR LONG DISTANCE TRANSPORT.

Author(s) : VYKYDAL P., SOUKUP L.

Summary

THE IMPROVEMENT OF REFRIGERATED TRANSPORT LED TO STRICTER TEMPERATURE AND RELATIVE HUMIDITY TOLERANCES AND TO UNIFORM TEMPERATURES AND RELATIVE HUMIDITIES. A CONTRIBUTION TO THIS PROBLEM IS THE DEVELOPMENT OF A TEMPERATURE-HUMIDITY CONTROL SYSTEM WHICH, BY MEANS OF A 5-LEVEL ELECTRON THERMOSTAT AND AN INCREASED EFFICIENCY OF THE EVAPORATOR FAN, PROVIDES FOUR REFRIGERATING CAPACITY VALUES AND A HEATING OPERATION WITH TWO AIR FLOW RATES. THIS ARRANGEMENT CAN PROVIDE OPTIMUM THERMAL CONDITIONS FOR A GREAT VARIETY OF FOODSTUFFS, INCLUDING THE COOLING OF FIELD-WARM FRUIT AND VEGETABLES.
