Summary
A new control system has been installed in an existing refrigeration plant at a meat processing factory in Lillehammer, Norway. The intention was to avoid part-load operation of the screw compressors by co-ordinating the operation of the units. As a result of the new installation, power consumption at the facility has been reduced by more than 5% and the control system has allowed the operator a good overview of the total process.
