Summary

Evaporation heat transfer coefficient and pressure drop of carbon dioxide are measured in rectangular shape microchannels. Tests are conducted with a variation of mass flux, heat flux, and evaporating temperature. The heat transfer coefficient is determined by the temperature difference between carbon dioxide and tube wall.
