Cooling for air conditioning without refrigerating plant.
[In German. / En allemand.]
Author(s) : FRANZKE U.
Type of article: Article
Summary
Cold for building air conditioning is traditionally generated by compression systems, using CFCs. The accelerated German phase-out of CFCs has inspired thinking about alternatives. One process consists of sorptive drying, heat recovery and adiabatic humidification. Limits and possibilities of such a method are represented.
