The code covers systems from those handling a few cubic metres of water per hour up to large industrial complexes circulating thousands of cubic metres per hour. It covers: control of corrosion and chemical attack, mineral salt deposition, microorganisms, fouling, concentration factor and chemical treatment, cleaning, shutdown protection for pipework and plant, sewage and cooling water make-up effluent.
