Water treatment in heating and cooling networks. Closed circuits.
Le traitement d'eau dans les réseaux de chauffage et de refroidissement. Circuits fermés.
Author(s) : FREMAUX M.
Type of article: Article
Summary
The temperature change of water in heating and cooling circuits leads to a modification of its calco-carbonic equilibrium and causes scaling and corrosion. After noting the measures for preventing such hazards, the author presents the different types of treatment, the most common inhibitors and the main control parameters in closed circuits.
