Type of article: Article
Summary
Notes that one of the main characteristics of thermal and fluid mechanical behaviour of buildings is that it is dominated by coupled heat and mass transfer phenomena. Describes the main phenomena influencing the behaviour of buildings and proposes a general formulation of these coupled phenomena. Applies this formulation to two important examples.
