Summary

The authors analysed the indoor humidity content when moisture-absorbing film was added to the roof of a hall. The research shows that if a double layer of fabric is used, the surface area of the wall and roof is not too large, the heat resistance of floor is high enough, then, the heating and cooling energy is acceptable. The efficiency of the moisture-absorbing film is limited and ventilation is needed, especially in the case of high occupancy density, which is often the case in exhibition buildings. The calculated results were compared with experimental results and good agreement was shown.
