IN CERTAIN SITUATIONS IT BECOMES ESSENTIAL TO CONTROL THE CUTTING TEMPERATURE WHICH IS HARDLY POSSIBLE BY CONVENTIONAL METHODS. THE AUTHORS HAVE USED LIQUID NITROGEN IN THE FORM OF JET FOR COOLING IN SURFACE GRINDING. THE REMARKABLE RESULTS OBTAINED ON SURFACE QUALITY HAVE BEEN REPORTED.
