Summary

Cryosurgery is beneficial for urological cancer by its safety and simplicity. This surgical treatment was performed in patients with prostate cancer and urinary bladder cancer. It was carried out using transurethral methods. Eighty eight cases with urinary bladder cancer were treated with this surgical method, and all the patients had superficial cancer type. The purpose of this therapy was completely curative. The five years survival rate was 70%. Fifty five cases with prostate cancer were also treated to improve their symptom of dysuria, and all improved their symptoms during their life. The five years survival rate was 24.9%.
