Summary

CRYOTHERAPY FOR TREATMENT OF MALIGNANT TUMOURSHAS BEEN REPORT ED IN CHINA AND OTHER COUNTRIES. BECAUSE SOME ORGANS IN HEAD AND NECK ARE DEEP INSIDE, THEY MAY BE VERY DIFFICULT TO TREAT, SUCH AS THE NASOPHARYNX AND PARANASAL SINUS, WHERE THE ONSET OF TUMOURS IS MORE INSIDIOUS THAN IN OTHER PLACES. SINCE 1980 THE AUTHOR HAS USED CRYOTHERAPY TO TREAT 67 CASES AND HAS FOLLOWED UP FOR A LONG TIME. THE RESULTS OF THESE CASES ARE SATISFACTORY.
