Summary

Cryotherapy began in Japan in 1985 and met with immediate success. It was used to treat disorders such as fibromyalgia, chronic pain due to wear and tear of joints and the spinal column. Another achievement: successful treatment of various dermatological disorders such as neurodermatitis and psoriasis. Swelling and pain due to sport injuries or in a post-operative context also appear to be rapidly relieved by this treatment.
