CRYOSURGERY MUST NOW BE CONSIDERED AS A VALID AMBULATORY TREATMENT OF PRIMARY VARICOSE VEINS. IT IS A SIMPLE AND VERSATILE TECHNIQUE. IT IS EFFICIENT IN WELL SELECTED PATIENTS. SINCE IT IS A SIMPLE, LOW-AGRESSIVE, LOW-RISK, SAFE, AESTHETIC AND RADICAL METHOD, IT MAY BE PROPOSED AS AN ALTERNATIVE TO SURGERY AND/OR SCLEROTHERAPY OR IN COMBINATION WITH THESE CLASSICAL METHODS.
