Summary

THE TEST STATION IN PRAGUE WAS BUILT 13 YEARS AGO. ITS MEASURING CHAMBER IS 18 X 3.5 X 4.1 M. THE OPERATING TEMPERATURES ARE FROM 248 TO 323 K (-25 TO 50 DEG C), THE HUMIDIFICATION UP TO 80%, INFRARED SIMULATED SOLAR RADIATION AND AIR CIRCULATION VELOCITY OF 2 M SEC-1. A 100-POINT MEASURING CENTRAL STATION RECORDS THE MEASURING RESULTS. A NEW LARGER TEST STATION IS PLANNED FOR CONSTRUCTION IN HRADEC KRALOVE (EAST BOHEMIA) FOR TESTING BOTH RAIL AND ROAD VEHICLES ACCORDING TO ATP AND BTP REGULATIONS. THIS STATION WILL BE CONTROLLED BY A COMPUTER.
