Definition of the optimum laws of change of volume of a working cavity of the cylinder in a cycle of the piston compressor.

Author(s) : SCHERBA V.

Summary

In this paper, the general system of differential equations defining the optimum speed of the piston at any point of a cycle is proposed. Proceeding from general physical representations, the criteria for each process of a volumetric compressor (compression, pulling, admission and expansion) are developed. The speed of the piston in any point of the cycle is defined. The results of numerical experiment and their analysis are submitted. The received laws can be used to design new mechanisms for volumetric compressors.
