Dehumidification equipment advances.
Author(s) : HARRIMAN L. G. III, JUDGE J.
Type of article: Article
Summary
The case for dehumidifying ventilation air is strong because air carries the largest part of the building's total moisture load. Given the current focus on humidity control, equipment manufacturers are likely to offer these and other innovative ventilation dehumidifiers more widely. Part-load performance analysis is a useful tool to crosscheck a unit's typical moisture removal effectiveness compared to its more brief operation at peak design condition.
