DENSITY AND POLARIZABILITY OF LIQUID HELIUM 4.

[In Russian. / En russe.]

Author(s) : KEMPIN'SKI V.

Type of article: Article

Summary

THE TEMPERATURE CHANGES IN THE DENSITY OF LIQUID HELIUM ARE MEASURED IN THE TEMPERATURE RANGE OF 1.63 TO 4.2 K. UNLIKE THE CONVENTIONAL PYCNOMETRIC TECHNIQUE, THE CHANGES IN THE HYDROSTATIC DISPLACEMENT OF THE LIQUID WERE DETERMINED. THE CORRECTNESS OF THE METHOD CHOSEN AND THE APPROPRIATE EQUIPMENT FOR ITS REALIZATION ARE SUBSTANTIATED. THE RESULTS OBTAINED ARE IN GOOD AGREEMENT WITH THOSE OF OTHER AUTHORS.
