THE THEORETICAL RANKINE POWER CYCLE EFFICIENCIES AND THE PRESSURE RATIOS HAVE BEEN PRESENTED FOR RANKINE POWER CYCLES OPERATING ON N-OCTANE. THESE VALUES ARE LISTED FOR TEMPERATURE DROPS OF 10 TO 75 K AND FOR BOILER TEMPERATURES 373 TO 533 K (100 TO 260 DEG C) IN 5 K INCREMENTS. THE DERIVED THERMODYNAMIC DATA CAN BE USED FOR THE RAPID PRELIMINARY DESIGN OF RANKINE POWER CYCLE SYSTEMS OPERATING ON N-OCTANE.
