Summary
The SHOOT (Superfluid Helium On-Orbit Transfer) command and monitoring system was used for all phases of the experiment from early hardware testing, system integration and pad servicing, through to flight operations and post-flight data analysis. The design, architecture and features of the command and monitoring system are discussed, with an emphasis on the operations unique to a space-borne experiment.
