Desiccant cooling.
Author(s) : THOMPSON K.
Summary
Refrigeration systems for air conditioning, based on hygroscopic products (desiccation) using waste heat or natural gas as energy source, are described. Impact on environment is thus reduced. These processes should develop. Solid desiccant wheels with regenerative heating are currently gaining market share in the United Kingdom.
