Design and optimization of a walk-in refrigeration system.
Author(s) : YAP Z. K., MORIMOTO C.
Summary
The purpose of this paper is to discuss the design of an optimized refrigerant system using R-404A in a walk-in refrigeration unit. Different parameters will affect the system performance, therefore, there is the need to investigate the effect of such behaviour. The parameters used in investigating the optimized performance were airflow, superheat setting and refrigerant charge. The optimized conditions were recommended for the design of a walk-in refrigeration unit.
