Summary

THE PROCEDURE IS BASED ON MEASUREMENT OF MICROWAVE DISSIPATION IN THE INVESTIGATED FILMS. THE DECAY TIME IS FOUND TO BE COMPOSED OF THE TIME OF NORMAL CROSS STRIP FORMATION AND THE TIME OF THE WHOLE FILM HEATING TO THE CRITICAL TEMPERATURE BY CURRENT. THE CHARACTERISTIC TIME DURATIONS ARE INVESTIGATED AS FUNCTIONS OF RATE OF THE CRITICAL CURRENT EXCEEDING, CURRENT PULSE DURATION AND THERMOPHYSICAL PARAMETERS OF THE SUBSTRATE.
