Summary

FROM A METHOD BASED ON THE FINITE ELEMENT PROCEDURE, THE DIFFERENT RECURRENT SCHEMES WERE ANALYSED. CRITERIA WERE INTRODUCED FOR THE SELECTION OF THE TIME INTERVAL FOR THE BEST ACCURACY. THE ANALYSIS OF THE RESPONSES OBTAINED FOR THREE CLASSES OF MATERIAL SHOWS A MARKED AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE SOLUTIONS AND A HIGHER DEGREE OF ACCURACY COMPARED TO OTHER PROCEDURES.
