Summary
The purpose of this thesis is to design a method for determining the statistical uncertainty in hydrothermal calculations and as a result of uncertainty in input parameters to implement this method in a software tool. Certain simplifications in the climatic boundary conditions and in the material parameters are necessary to obtain a practical and user-friendly tool. Four typical hydrothermal strain categories and corresponding climatic short-cycles are defined to summarize the interaction between a building component and the climatic conditions.
