CRYOPROBES WITH INTERCHANGEABLE PROBE TIPS SUITABLE FOR DIFFERENT PURPOSES HAVE BEEN DEVELOPED BASED ON JOULE-THOMSON EFFECT USING AVAILABLE GASES LIKE CARBON DIOXIDE, HALOCARBONS, NITROUS OXIDE FROM RESPECTIVE CYLINDERS. CASE HISTORIES OF 67 PATIENTS TREATED WERE FOLLOWED UP AND THE RESULTS OBTAINED WERE HIGHLY SATISFACTORY.
