Summary
The authors have tried to find a solution to the problem of the measurement of thermal resistance at depths not accessible directly by certain devices. Firstly, the problem of high-depth insulants is described, and the phenomena of depth for different products are identified. Then, they propose one or several methods for determining the thermal resistance at high depth for each category of insulant.
