Summary

A 3D time dependent interactive real-time thermal and turbulent fluid flow solver with an integrated visualisation tool was implemented. Our work emphasises on accelerating or speeding-up the time to solution. A novel Lattice Boltzmann Method (LBM) -based CFD technique was implemented on the graphics processing unit (GPU) for this purpose. Good agreement between LBM results and traditional CFD based methods are observed.
