Number: pap. P06

Author(s) : MATSUDA T., AOKI M., LEE S., et al.

Summary

New indoor heat exchanger with 5 mm tube diameter for packaged air conditioners has been developed. The fin shape was optimized by air side heat transfer and pressure drop. New type of inner grooved tube was designed to restrain refrigerant side pressure drop. The overall heat transfer of developed heat exchanger was 43% larger than the conventional heat exchanger with 7.2 mm tube diameter.
