Summary
The article distinguishes between balance valves and auto-flow valves in application, through an analysis of their mechanism, applicability and project examples, and it concludes that the balance valve should be used in systems where resistance (water flow) balance is desired, and the autoflow valve should be used in systems where constant water flow is needed. These should not be arbitrarily interchanged in engineering applications.
